I need to pass a drug test for a job, is it true that they check if I used detox to pass the drug test?(weed)?

I smoked marijuana a week ago. I need to pass a drug test in order to get a job. I was told detox helps clean out my system, but I also heard now they started to check if you used detox to pass your test. Is this true? Nothing cleans your system. Sorry it is in your system for approximately 30 days. The half life for one cigarette is 4 days. That means that in 4 days you still have half the measureable quantity in your system. Next time, just don't smoke weed before you have to pass a drug test. I think you have to fake an illness and get out of the test atleast for a month, maybe you can say you had a family emergency.
People have been trying to beat the test for a long as there has been a test. As fast as someone comes up with a way to beat it, the test is changed to detect the new stuff. Yes. They will find whatever you have used. I've been doing them for years.
