Some say the Atlantis isn't a real place and it is in the Carribean or in the Mediterranean sea or maybe in the center of the Atlantic Ocean. I'm confused! And is it true, Plato just used the story? Did Plato used a story from another philospher who visited Egypt, who read a story about the Minoan civilization of Crete and was Plato only using it to warn the greeks of his day that man could cause his own destruction?
