No, its does have healing powers but will not rpevent infection. You can get Tea tree oil as an antiseptic but these oils are nothing to mess with if you don't know what you're doing. Get them from a reliable healthfood store and ask their advise. There are plenty of Aromatherapy books out there giving good advice also.Is it true Lavender oil,can be used as an antiseptic.?
