Yes but thats because its all bloody coffee houses now!! Cafe nero and costa make very poor tea. I always go to the whittards tea house that way i know i'll always get a great pot of tea!!Is it true that it's harder to get a good cup of tea in London these days than it used to be?

You do get a lot of people looking askance if you ask for tea in a coffee shop, but general cafe's no probs.
